is a private university, established in 2024. IIU mission is to increase the quality, affordability and access to tertiary education around the globe. At IIU we aspire to create, build and enrich life-long prosperity for the common global citizen by inspiring and advancing self-determination through education. The objectives of the IIU Research are aligned with the mission and goals of the University.

- To create and implement a standardized scoring system to rank quality and determine funding of internally supported research projects
- To promote a research-training environment focused on job-ready graduates
- To establish niche research excellence, focused on the faculty’s and student’s research areas of interest
- To develop internal and external benchmarks against which selected outcomes of monitoring key performance indicators can be compared to gauge success in conduct of the research mission
- To deliver impactful innovation through collaborative engagement in research projects with industry, business, governments, and the communities
Research and Innovation
In order to support and deliver the University’s mission it is Research and Innovation’s strategic intention to drive the exploitation of research and knowledge transfer opportunities in order to deliver significant added value to the University, the wider economy and community.
Research and Innovation will:
- Provide information and intelligence.
- Maintain and develop organizational capabilities
- Create, enable and communicate research and knowledge transfer opportunities
Research and Innovation’s activities are:
- Generating new knowledge and supporting the generation of new knowledge in the University and with partners
- Exchanging, transferring and exploiting knowledge for the economic, social and environmental benefits of the University, staff, the city, the region and wider.
- Winning funding and generating income for University activities and projects aligned with the University’s intentions and ambitions.
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH CENTER FOR ADVANCED MATERIALS (SRCAM)
The Scientific Research Center for Advanced Materials (SRCAM) is a key hub for research in materials development and innovation both in the United States and globally. It aligns with global strategic priorities, including improving electronics and communication systems’ performance and advancing medical and clean energy technologies.
